It has been feeling more like spring around Baltimore than like a cold, bitter winter.  I'm not complaining though, I like it.  Even though snow can be a pain to shovel, drive it, walk in, etc. . . it can be rather pleasing and nice to look at from a warm, cozy place, preferably indoors.  I do love the complete whiteness and the glow of fresh snow.  The feeling takes me back to some images I took several years ago, when I was at a bed & breakfast in Boonsboro, Maryland during an ice storm.  There were plenty of inches on the ground already, and when that ice started falling, it gave everything a beautiful luminescence and glossy surface.  These images at Stony Creek Farm were taken with my Holga with 120mm black and white film.  Enjoy!

I can safely and happily say that I am now officially back in Baltimore, MD!  Moving home was a big decision, but one that I embraced with open arms.  It seems that everyone and everything has been so welcoming to me since I got home. . . thank you!  I will surely miss my friends and the beauty in Rhode Island, however, you'll always be in my heart and I look forward to my next visit up there.

And now for the good stuff. . . I know it's been a while since my last post and update, but I am ready to start sharing some info and news to you.  Most importantly, all of my photography and photo cards are now available on my Etsy Shop for holiday shopping! 

I offer my fine art photography prints in all sizes, if there is something that you don't see, but see on my website here, please just let me know and I'd be happy to make a print for you.  I am going to be updating my greeting card galleries in the next couple of months with lots of new designs.  I will post images of these as I make them and everything will be available to purchase online at my Etsy Shop.  If you see any cards that you may want to purchase for the holiday, please email me and I will check to see if I still have it in stock, if not, I'll be happy to whip one up for ya!

To put it gently, A LOT has happened since my last blog post and the past 3 weeks have been a whirlwind of emotion, sadness, excitement, happiness and creative productivity.  I spent a week in Chicago and Beloit, WI crafting and watching my best friend celebrate the best day of her life, I journeyed to visit another great girlfriend in Madison, WI, my Mother and her husband Tommy came to visit me in RI for Labor Day and right before all of this happened, I became unemployed.  Oh, and I turn 30 in 3 weeks.  It's been bumpy, to say the least, with extreme highs and lows.  But, in light of the whole 'unemployed and broke' part, I can now share some happy news!  I'm moving back to Baltimore on November 1st!  I can't wait to get back into my hometown of Charm City and rediscover why I love it so much.  So the job search is on!  Time to pack it all up and say goodbye to the ocean state and my little apartment in the forest.  Better times ahead, as my Mother always says.
